Your Chattanooga Real Estate Update – Home Inventory in Chattanooga Tennessee in 2024 has remained very steady despite a strong number of listings hitting the Multiple Listing Service each week.
Buyer demand also remains high so the number of homes going under contract each week can actually exceed the number of new homes being listed in the Chattanooga and North Georgia areas combined. This is what transpired last week. For a short time, housing inventory exceeded 2,000 homes but dropped below 2,000 once again on Monday.
The Buyer pool consists of hedge funds, corporations, flippers, investors and traditional homeowners all vying for the same properties. In order to Buyers to be competitive in this market, they’ll need to have their pre-approvals and financial records ready to go when they find a home they would love to purchase.
